When you refuse to envy the violent and walk the upright way instead, you step into something the violent will never have: His actual confidence, His real presence, His unshakeable counsel.

Today, notice one place where you're tempted to admire or imitate someone's aggressive, cutthroat, or cruel methods—in business, relationships, or online. Name it. Then choose one small act of integrity instead: speak truth when a lie would be easier, show kindness when leverage would work faster, or keep your word when breaking it would benefit you. Let God see you choosing His way.
