September 6, 2026 — Isaiah 40:29

He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.

Isaiah 40:29

Takeaway

God does not demand that you have strength before you come to Him. He meets you in your exhaustion, your depletion, your complete emptiness—and there, in that place of honest weakness, He gives. Not promises. Not platitudes. Actual strength. This is not strength you manufacture or earn. It is given. Received. The God who made you knows exactly how much you have left, and He is faithful to supply what you lack.

Application

Today, name one place where you are running on fumes—spiritually, physically, emotionally, relationally. Stop trying to fake strength there. Bring that honest weariness to God in prayer, even if the prayer is just silence or tears. Ask Him for what you actually need, not what you think you should be able to handle alone.
