July 22, 2026 — John 15:10

If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love.

John 15:10

Takeaway

Jesus is not offering you a transactional deal—obey and earn love. He is describing the natural fruit of abiding in His love. Just as He kept His Father's commands and remained secure in that relationship, you remain in His love through the same pathway: trust Him enough to obey. Love and obedience are not separate currencies; obedience is what it looks like when you actually believe you are loved.

Application

Today, identify one command of Jesus you have been resisting or delaying—something He asks that costs you comfort or control. Ask Him not for willpower but for the faith to believe His love is real enough to be worth obeying. Then do the one thing.
