These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.
Deuteronomy 6:6-7
Takeaway
God's Word is not meant to stay in your head—it's meant to saturate your heart and overflow into everything you do. When faith becomes the rhythm of your ordinary moments—breakfast table, car rides, bedtime, morning coffee—it stops being a Sunday thing and becomes a way of life. This is how discipleship actually happens: not through perfect sermons or formal Bible studies alone, but through the natural, repeated weaving of God's truth into the fabric of daily living.
Application
Today, pick one moment in your routine—a meal, a commute, a bedtime—and deliberately speak or think about one truth from Scripture in that space. If you have children, do it out loud with them. If you're alone, say it anyway. Let God's Word interrupt the ordinary.
