Paul is not telling you to be naive or ignore false teaching—he's telling you to protect the flock from wolves. When someone deliberately creates division or twists the gospel to trip people up, separation isn't cruelty; it's obedience. The teaching you learned—Christ died for your sins, rose again, calls you to follow Him—is the measuring stick. Anything contrary to that deserves to be named and kept at arm's length.

Today, examine who has regular influence over your spiritual life. Is there a voice—online, in person, or in your inner circle—that consistently questions core gospel truth or divides people over secondary issues? Don't debate them endlessly. Create distance. Protect your own heart and the hearts of those around you by choosing to listen to shepherds who feed you Christ, not confusion.
